Microchip Identification for Your Pet

A lost pet is a frightening situation with often devastating consequences. Studies have shown more than 10 million pets get lost each year and approximately 90 percent of those found would not have been returned to their owners without some form of permanent lost pet identification.

This is why the team at Divine Animal Hospital considers microchip pet IDs a fundamental way to protect your pet and an important part of responsible pet ownership. If your pet is lost, the microchip can be scanned by animal control officers, at shelters and at veterinary hospitals in the U.S., and in many foreign countries as well. This safe, reliable and permanent pet identification takes less than 10 seconds to implant and can save you and your pet days, weeks or more of fear and anguish.

Before You Travel: International Health Certificates for Your Pet

We provide international health certificates, which are required when traveling with your pet outside the United States. Many countries have their own health certificates and they are available here. If you are traveling to a country without an approved health certificate, please download the United States Interstate and International Certificate of Health Examination for Small Animals.

Along with an international health certificate, there may be additional requirements for traveling abroad. Please take some time to become familiar with the international pet travel requirements specific to your destination. If you have any questions, the staff at Divine Animal Hospital is happy to help.

Your First Choice for Veterinary Prescriptions

As the prescribing veterinarian for your pet's medications, we are able to ensure there is a direct link between the exam room and the pharmacy. This means your pet will receive the right medication, at the right dose, in the correct form as quickly as possible.

We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventives to meet your pet's needs. We also carry a full line of prescription diets. If your pet requires a prescription diet we do not carry, we can easily order it for you.

Refills are easy, too. Simply give us a call at 772-299-3665 or visit our prescription refills page.

Pet Behavior Counseling

Even with the right training and lots of attention and love, your dog or cat can develop bad habits or unwanted behaviors. Please don't make the mistake of believing that you and your family must live with these problems or worse, consider giving up your pet.

Divine Animal Hospital offers behavior counseling for many of your pet's problems including inappropriate urination or defecation, urine marking, aggression, nipping and biting, separation anxiety, inappropriate chewing and barking, compulsive behaviors, chewing and the introduction of new pets into your household.

End-of-Life Planning for Your Pet

End-of-Life Planning for Your Pet

For many pet owners, even thinking about their pet's final days is difficult and emotional. Animals play a big role in each family. These strong bonds, born from years of loyal companionship, makes this time particularly hard to bear.

We encourage you to talk with the veterinary healthcare team about these issues before they become an urgent matter. Learn more about your options, make some key decisions ahead of time and ask us to add this information to your pet's record. Taking the time to plan, as challenging as it may be, will lessen the pain and stress for you and your pet.

The staff at Divine Animal Hospital is here to help you prepare for these important issues with the compassion and sensitivity they require. At-home veterinary euthanasia services and cremation services are also offered.

Grief Counseling

It is an unfortunate fact that pets do not live as long as pet owners. We understand that saying goodbye to your beloved pet is an incredibly difficult time for you and your family. Should you need us, we are here to help guide you through the experience with the knowledge and compassion required.
